Ability Checks.

Most actions can resolved with an ability check.

Roll x number of d6 under relevant ability score

number of d6 is based on difficulty of task

Difficulty Level	Dice Roll
Very easy	1D6
Easy	2D6
Moderate	3D6
Difficult	4D6
Very difficult	5D6
Heroic	6D6

Thus a character with an ability score of 13 would only have to roll for moderate or harder task.
